As a freelance translator and editor, my job is making sure your content looks like it was written in Dutch. I leverage my anthropology background and eagle eye to help sustainable businesses and organizations achieve clear and effective Dutch communication.

When you communicate in a foreign language, it’s not enough to ‘just translate’ the words, you really need to adapt your message to the expectations of your audience. As a translator, I try to find the Dutch equivalent of the words and ideas you’re conveying. I do my research, ask questions, give suggestions… in other words, I get really involved in the project to make sure everything is as it should be.
Editing & proofreading
There’s nothing I love more than to be given a text and told to make it perfect! As an editor, I take the time to study your website, article or any other document in depth, hunting for grammatical errors, layout glitches, incoherences and sentences that just ‘sound a little off’ given the audience. As a result, your content looks polished, professional and trustworthy.
